Three classmates stuck at home decide to write a visual letter to the quarantine as if it was a character itself. In this letter they expose their reflections upon all the feelings that these times evoke; the fear of change, the nostalgia, the real meaning of "saudade" and the curiosity about what is coming next.
"Dear Quarantine" is the final product of a partnership between the Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design and the University of Texas at Austin and exposes three different approaches and ways of dealing with change and the end of the routine, presenting through time distortion the search for the transformation of voices into objects and spaces, erasing the thin line that divides being and becoming in this very uncertain period in our lives.
